About us

We are an insurance broker with license No. 198/97 issued by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in Warsaw. We have been operating since 1993, formerly under the Biuro Brokerów brand, and since June 2014 as MERITUM Sp. z o. o. Our many years of experience in servicing large enterprises is the capital that we put at the disposal of our clients. We create and implement insurance programs based on offers from the Polish and international markets. We take over the burden of day-to-day service of contracts, thus providing our clients with peace of mind and awareness of financial security.

Management

MSc. Andrzej Janik - President of the Management Board

In 1993, he founded a commercial law company and took the position of the President of the Management Board of Meritum Sp. z o.o. He obtained brokerage rights in 1993. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Kielce University of Technology, as well as postgraduate studies in the field of organization and industry management at the Gdańsk University of Technology,
He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, which allows him a broad view and provides deep knowledge of the market.
 
Currently, he is responsible for shaping the company’s development strategy, maintaining lasting relationships with the insurance market and implementing procedures in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He makes sure that the company’s activities comply with the best practices and industry standards.

Dr. Bartosz Janik - Vice President of the Management Board

Doctor of economics in the discipline of finance, graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. He also completed law studies at the University of Gdańsk and engineering studies in management at the Gdańsk University of Technology. Author of scientific publications in the field of law and insurance.
 
Insurance broker, since the beginning of his work as a broker, he has been associated with the maritime, construction and shipbuilding industries. Responsible for comprehensive service of the company’s key clients in the area of property insurance, insurance guarantees and claims handling.
